3. How will I be kept informed about new to
market properties?
Today's buyers no longer have to look for properties that meet their
basic buying criteria! Instead, technologically savvy Realtors like John
Vrooman use powerful and automated tools that will automatically alert their
buyers by email whenever a property that meets their basic buying criteria is
entered into the local multiple listing service! So, in a sense, technology has
enabled a situation to develop where properties are now able to find buyers,
instead of buyers having to locate properties. That's a paradigm shift!

6. Why do I NEED to get pre-approved for a
mortgage, before I find a property?
You may, or may not NEED to get pre-approved for a mortgage before you find
a property. Typically, it is the seller and seller's Realtor who together decide
whether or not to require that all purchasers offers be submitted along with an
accompanying and supportive mortgage pre-approval letter. Over the past
few years, it has been my experience that many offers will not be considered
unless they are accompanied with a pre-approval letter. Therefore, to
better ensure that your offer will be competitive you should
initiate the process of obtaining a mortgage pre-approval before you start looking
for a property to purchase.
